About the Role
Support the monthly AR/TII monitoring and file review cycle, carry out thematic reviews, and produce compliance MI and reporting. Administer the compliance policy suite, support complaints handling, and maintain training records. Assist with regulatory horizon-scanning and support the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly AR/TII monitoring and file review cycle across Mission’s Appointed Representatives and Tied Insurance Intermediaries.
- Carry out thematic reviews and file checks as directed by the Senior Compliance Manager.
- Produce compliance MI and reporting for management and Board/committee packs.
- Administer and maintain the compliance policy suite, including version control and review scheduling.
- Support complaints handling, logging, tracking and root-cause analysis.
- Support with logging, tracking and follow up on compliance events, such as breaches, conflicts, issues & incidences, etc.
- Maintain training & competence records and support delivery of compliance training.
- Assist with regulatory horizon-scanning and tracking upcoming requirements.
- Support the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) and risk register maintenance.
- Track risk actions and remediation plans to closure, escalating overdue items to the Risk Manager.
Requirements
- Must live in the UK.
- Must be authorized to work in the UK without requirement of employment sponsorship/visa.
Skills
- Working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework (FCA rules, SM&CR, Consumer Duty).
- Strong MS Excel/Office skills, comfortable working with data to produce MI.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong written communication.
- Able to manage a varied workload against multiple deadlines.
