About the Role
We are seeking engineers to join our System Control Subsystem (SYSSS) development team to design and develop SYSSS for microcontrollers (MCUs) and SoCs. This role is crucial for supporting our planned range of new MCU and SoC products and requires expertise in digital design with a chip-level architectural perspective, as well as a broad understanding of analog circuits and LSI implementation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop System Control Subsystems (SYSSS) for microcontrollers (MCUs) and SoCs.
- Develop system control functions that govern overall chip operation, including reset, clock management, and low-power modes.
- Design and enhance system architectures to support new product families and emerging application domains with advanced functional and performance requirements.
- Cover the entire digital design flow, from specification definition and architecture design to logic design and functional verification.
Requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to drive tasks and projects independently.
- Fundamental understanding of product specifications for MCUs and CPU-based SoCs.
- Hands-on experience in logic design and functional verification in product or IP development.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to improve verification quality and development efficiency.
- Willingness to actively adopt and utilize new design and verification methodologies and development tools.
- Hands-on experience in logic synthesis, non-functional verification (e.g., performance and power consumption), and timing verification.
- Interest in broadening technical expertise beyond logic design, including analog circuits related to system control (e.g., power management and oscillators) and LSI backend design technologies (e.g., DFT and physical layout).
- Experience leading small teams or projects, or coordinating and driving activities among team members.
