About the Role
Become part of WELT's program planning and shape the daily TV program with us. You will support our team in planning and coordination and gain practical insights into the world of news television.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of the current TV program.
- Participate in the weekly creation and updating of program schedules.
- Maintain and update broadcast information, titles, texts, and program data.
- Ensure reliable updates of relevant information during short-term program changes.
- Coordinate program content and broadcast sequences with editorial teams and other internal interfaces.
- Support the team in the operational day-to-day business of program planning.
Requirements
- Studying media studies, media management, communication sciences, journalism, or a comparable degree program.
- Ideally, possess initial practical experience in the media, TV, or editorial environment.
- Have a strong interest in television, news, and current media topics.
- Work in a structured, careful, and reliable manner.
- Enjoy organizing and coordinating, and can maintain an overview of various topics.
- Possess very good German language skills.
