About the Role
As a Public Area Attendant, you are a valuable member of our Housekeeping team, responsible for keeping our shared spaces exceptionally clean and focusing on the little things. You will feel at ease working both independently and alongside your team members and enjoy engaging with guests, helping them with any questions or requests they may have.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out.
- Spruce up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind.
- Offer help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborate with different departments to accomplish tasks.
- Report any issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus.
- Warm and welcoming communication style, making both guests and team members feel at ease.
- Eye for detail and efficient work ethic, managing time well and taking pride in tasks.
- Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.
- Enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
