About the Role
You will be part of the team that enables significant service improvements for our people by building high-performance technology solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping the technological landscape and driving digital transformation within the SCATS team, a leading intelligent traffic management system.
Responsibilities
- Work within an Agile project team contributing to the designing, building, testing, and supporting of new and existing technology solutions
- Assist the development of high quality, robust and secure software solutions that meet business and customer expectations
- Assist with on-going software, platform, data and integration analysis
- Participate in the continuous improvement of products, solutions and processes in a collaborative manner
- Conduct code reviews and analysis to identify issues and ensure consistency, efficiency and reliability of new software
Requirements
- Proven development experience across in a similar role
- Ability to work within a complex operating environment delivering crucial software solutions
- Capable of working to schedules coordinated across the development team
Skills
- Experience developing desktop applications in C++ is highly desirable
- Knowledge of traffic systems is also highly desirable
