About the Role
Our care teams serve patients with dedication and compassion and are the heart of our patients’ care and recovery. Priority Management seeks people who share our commitment to providing excellent care to our patients and residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
- Assure resident safety.
- Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care for assigned residents.
- Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner.
- Assist or feed residents.
- Keep residents clean and dry, provide toileting or incontinent care.
- Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
