About the Role
Drive meaningful technology and product delivery across a dynamic regional footprint, modernizing and scaling technology for operational and commercial teams. This role offers strategic influence, reporting to the Pacific IT Director and serving on the Pacific IT Leadership Team, shaping technology direction across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
Responsibilities
- Establish and optimize a pragmatic, lightweight governance framework balancing agile iteration with disciplined project controls.
- Steer the regional product and project roadmap end-to-end, guiding mission-critical initiatives across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of two Delivery Leads and a Portfolio Analyst, fostering a culture of psychological safety, ownership, and continuous innovation.
- Pioneer modern digital workplace practices by embedding Google Workspace and generative AI tools to automate reporting and accelerate documentation.
- Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, systems integrators, and software partners, ensuring top-tier delivery, accountability, and ROI.
- Collaborate with the Pacific IT Director and Finance on Capex/Opex allocations.
- Partner with Architecture, Engineering, and Service Delivery peers to ensure seamless operational transitions.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of progressive experience delivering complex enterprise systems, product roadmaps, or digital programs.
- 2–4 years of demonstrated success coaching and growing high-performing teams.
- Seamlessly blend agile product methods with solid project governance, gating, and risk management.
- Strong fluency across Google Workspace and modern PPM collaboration stacks (Jira, Confluence, Asana, or monday.com).
- Ability to run vendor relationships effectively, translating SOWs, SLAs, and commercial contracts into delivery velocity.
- Ability to bridge executive strategy and front-line operations, building trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Open to occasional interstate and trans-Tasman trips.
