About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager for Compute Infrastructure, you will own the supply signal for all GPUs entering our fleet, managing the roadmap, requirements, delivery, and adoption of the tools and platform behind this signal. You will also lead programs that turn incoming supply into usable compute by coordinating physical and logical readiness across various teams and providers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the GPU supply signal across the fleet, maintaining a trusted view of incoming capacity.
  • Build and scale the tools, data, and platform behind the supply signal, owning the roadmap, requirements, delivery, and adoption.
  • Connect supply with capacity planning, partnering with Capacity Planning on supply and demand management.
  • Coordinate physical readiness for new capacity, working closely with Data Center Infrastructure and cloud service providers.
  • Lead logical readiness across infrastructure resources, coordinating CPU, storage, network, GPU, Kubernetes, and dependent compute foundation services.
  • Drive deployment across cloud and bare metal environments, leading integrated plans across multiple providers.
  • Establish Delivery Scorecards for cloud providers and internal infrastructure teams to track delivery commitments and identify gaps.
  • Improve the reliability and repeatability of cluster bringup by partnering with Engineering to scale automation and processes.
  • Manage the critical paths across concurrent programs, establishing clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and escalation paths.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading major technical programs, including compute infrastructure, hyperscaler deployments, capital projects, or similarly complex infrastructure work.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) to scale compute infrastructure.
  • Experience coordinating deployments across multiple providers is valuable.
  • Familiarity with bare metal GPU capacity and the provisioning, inventory, and planning systems used to bring it into service.
  • Experience defining requirements for operational data and internal platforms.
  • Understanding of how site readiness, power and cooling, equipment delivery, commissioning, and ready-for-service milestones affect cluster deployment.
  • Record of owning and delivering complex technical programs across internal teams and external partners.
  • Technically adept and comfortable working with Engineering and Research to understand dependencies, evaluate tradeoffs, and turn complex problems into executable plans.
  • Ability to build simple, scalable processes and communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Resourceful in ambiguous environments and able to follow issues through to resolution.
  • Interest in and thoughtfulness about the impacts of AGI.
