About the Role

We are seeking excellent full-time engineers to design logical and physical software architectures for AD/ADAS systems. This role involves actively managing the entire architecture design process, from acquiring various requirements to determining the placement of software functions considering physical constraints.

Responsibilities

Design integrated AD/ADAS software architecture specifications for embedded software systems.
Acquire and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
Prioritize requirements and design AD/ADAS software architectures that optimally meet them.
Consider hardware constraints when determining the placement of CPUs and software components, and design soft scheduling.
Design and manage the usage of other hardware resources such as memory.
Evaluate hardware usage, including processing load and memory size, and plan countermeasures for usage overruns.
Create software architecture design strategies and development processes.

Requirements

Knowledge of embedded software development (e.g., over 4 years of practical experience in embedded software development).
Practical experience in acquiring, analyzing, and defining requirements for embedded software development.
Knowledge of software platforms and middleware (e.g., POSIX, RTOS, Ubuntu, ROS, QNX).
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java, JS, C#).
Business-level Japanese proficiency.
Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 730 or higher).
