You blend deep functional expertise across General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, financial close, and core finance processes with the leadership and consulting skills required to drive complex SAP transformation programs. You are comfortable leading client workshops, shaping solution design, resolving complex finance and accounting challenges, and coordinating across business, technology, integration, data, testing, training, and offshore teams. You can translate finance priorities into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions while maintaining strong financial controls, reporting integrity, and alignment with the broader CFO agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA Record-to-Report workstreams, partnering with controllers, accounting leaders, and finance process owners to define future-state finance processes and technology solutions.
  • Lead workshops to assess current-state challenges and translate business and accounting requirements into SAP S/4HANA Finance designs.
  • Design and configure end-to-end R2R solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, financial close, and related finance processes.
  • Drive process standardization and optimization across journal processing, account reconciliation, intercompany accounting, period-end close, financial reporting, and financial controls.
  • Analyze finance data, including chart of accounts, master data, journals, asset registers, cost objects, sub-ledger mappings, and reconciliations, to support design, conversion, and cutover.
  • Guide finance integration across SAP modules and business processes to ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Lead functional activities across system configuration, data conversion, unit testing, SIT, UAT, defect triage, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Contribute to finance transformation business cases, roadmaps, solution strategies, and executive presentations aligned with CFO priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to apply SAP Business AI and GenAI to improve financial close, reconciliation, reporting, controls, and finance productivity.
  • Collaborate across business, technology, integration, data, testing, training, client, and offshore teams in a Global Delivery model.
  • Provide functional leadership, coach junior team members, support delivery excellence, and contribute to SAP Finance assets, accelerators, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of SAP Finance functional experience, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Record-to-Report processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience across General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, financial close, and related finance capabilities.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable integration into the overall R2R process.
  • Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA or SAP Finance implementations, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover and post-go-live support (hypercare).
  • Experience leading or coordinating teams across large-scale SAP transformation programs.
