About the Role
The Restaurant Dishwasher focuses on maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure guests receive food and beverage service that meets the high standards set by Neiman Marcus.
Responsibilities
- Primarily focuses on keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standard
- Maintains dish machine by checking for chemicals, understanding operation, reporting malfunctions, and keeping chemical testers on hand
- Knows how to use all sanitizing materials used for cleaning
- Checks trash periodically and removes if full
- Organizes dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver
- Maintains a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware
- Exercises caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware)
- Keeps floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash
- Assists with preparation and additional cleaning throughout kitchen as needed
- Maintains a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff
- Upholds all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and 3rd party Sanitation auditors
Requirements
- Ability to work autonomously

- Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds
- Associates must be based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary/Compensations
- $19.61 - $24.51
