About the Role
Mollie Stone's Markets is seeking a versatile Cashier/All Purpose Clerk (APC) for their Tower location. This role requires a customer service-driven individual flexible in performing various daily tasks, including cashiering and assisting in other departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Process sales accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Identify product items correctly.
- Handle money transactions.
- Bag groceries and provide carry-out service.
- Retrieve store baskets and carts.
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions.
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and guide customers to product locations.
- Restock inventory, conduct price checks, and return products to shelves.
- Work in other departments based on store needs.
Requirements
- A passion for unique, fresh food.
- A team-centered attitude.
- Ability to identify produce quality and freshness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand upright for up to eight hours per day.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Local candidates only.
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
- Consideration for employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records, pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
