About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will design innovative, secure, and scalable cloud and software architectures for enterprise client projects. You will lead the conception, modernization, and evolution of complex enterprise IT landscapes, bridging business objectives and technology. You will translate business needs into multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Telekom Cloud) and provide technical leadership using cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.

Design innovative, secure, and scalable cloud and software architectures
Lead the conception, modernization, and continuous evolution of complex enterprise IT landscapes
Translate complex business needs into resilient multi-cloud strategies
Provide technical leadership
Mentor delivery teams
Drive sustainable architecture governance

Requirements

Proven track record in software and cloud architecture
In-depth knowledge of distributed systems and microservices
Hands-on experience with at least one leading cloud provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Open Telekom Cloud)
Strong practical proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes within production environments
Sound expertise in platform resilience, cloud compliance, scalability, and robust system operations
Solid understanding of modern continuous integration, delivery pipelines, and automated deployment practices
Demonstrated capability to translate complex technical and business requirements into viable, cost-effective architecture concepts
Excellent communication abilities to advise teams and articulate architectural choices clearly in both German and English
