About the Role
Deloitte’s Valuations team is Australia’s leading and fastest growing corporate valuations team. We are looking to expand further by hiring at the Senior Consultant level in Sydney. Your work will be varied and offer an outstanding opportunity to develop your skills in corporate finance, value advisory, and project management, with exposure to a range of clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth business, economic, industry, capital markets, and competitor research, data analysis, and benchmarking.
- Develop bespoke financial models for valuation, including scenario, sensitivity, and statistical analysis.
- Develop, review, and interpret analysis, presenting clear and insightful conclusions in written and verbal form.
- Work in diverse teams within an inclusive culture where contributions are recognized.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships, focusing on exceptional client service.
- Support the delivery of high-profile projects.
Requirements
- An interest in financial markets, businesses, and how corporate value is derived.
- A blend of financial qualifications and foundational knowledge of corporate financial reporting and/or financial analysis.
- Ability to think unconventionally, problem-solve, and develop solutions to commercial problems.
- Curious disposition and analytical nature with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
