About the Role

Wizard is seeking a leader to turn its AI-native professional video editor into a revenue engine across studios and enterprise. This role is critical as the company prepares for its public launch this winter, with existing paying customers and an LOI from a Hollywood studio. You will own revenue generation, starting with closing key deals and then building the sales and partnerships team to scale them.

Responsibilities

  • Own pricing, packaging, and the revenue plan across seats, usage-based inference, and headless runtime access.
  • Close the first big entertainment and enterprise deals personally, including converting our studio LOI.
  • Build pipeline with studios, streamers, production companies, agencies, and in-house creative teams.
  • Hire and lead sales and partnerships, including data partnerships with AI labs.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline reviews, and revenue reporting to the board.
  • Bring customer feedback back to product and protect the roadmap from one-off asks.

Requirements

  • PLG into enterprise experience: scaled a product-led company into enterprise and big-account revenue.
  • Credibility to engage with studio heads of post, VPs of creative, or agency owners on workflow, security, and cost.
  • Experience in commercial design, including building and iterating on pricing for seats, usage, or platform access based on data.
  • Product judgment to discern what to sell now, what to promise later, and what to decline.
  • Ownership mentality: carry a revenue number personally while building the supporting systems.
  • Evidence of strong fit could include sales or partnerships leadership at companies like Figma, Frame.io, Runway, Canva, Notion, Autodesk Media & Entertainment.
  • Demonstrated experience closing deals with studios, networks, streamers, or enterprise creative teams.
  • Experience building a sales team from scratch at an early-stage company.
  • Understanding of creative work and pricing strategies is valued over a specific title like Head of Sales or VP.
