About the Role
The On Call Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing table games while providing excellent guest service, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Deal one or more Game Types proficiently, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, Specialty Games (Poker), and variations.
- Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions.
- Accurately exchange cash or markers for chips.
- Collect losing bets and pay winning bets.
- Collect commission based on the game dealt.
- Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers regarding unnatural or irregular play and disputes.
- Notify supervisor immediately of all mistakes or claims and resolve them at their discretion.
- Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results, or any other information as required by game procedures.
- Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere at the game.
- Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests, staying alert to their needs and responding effectively to inquiries.
- Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority or refer them to management.
- Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6+ Months of prior relevant experience dealing multiple table games.
- Experience working in a similar resort setting required.
