About the Role
Multiplier is building an AI platform for professional investors, designed to bring all of their investment research, data, models, and workflows into one place. This is a highly hands-on, full-stack engineering opportunity where you'll work directly on the product, solve complex technical challenges, and build features that directly impact how professional investors use AI. You'll have significant ownership from day one, working across infrastructure, AI integrations, product development, client implementations, and internal tooling.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve a full-stack AI platform that brings together investment data, research, models, and workflows into one workspace.
- Design and implement intuitive user experiences for non-technical users working with AI agents.
- Work on AI infrastructure, including model routing, post-training providers, benchmarks, and prompt optimization.
- Build and deploy custom AI workflows, agent capabilities, and factor models for different types of investors.
- Develop internal tools and automation to improve client onboarding and streamline engineering workflows.
- Build data pipelines for processing large volumes of documents and integrating alternative data sources.
- Develop systems for managing authentication and integrations across multiple enterprise platforms.
- Work directly with clients to understand their needs, solve technical challenges, and turn vague product requests into working features.
- Debug and improve complex deployments, including on-premise environments and enterprise infrastructure.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Review AI agent traces and outputs to identify opportunities to improve prompts and system behavior.
- Incorporate manual quality assurance into automated testing and CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong ability to work across the full stack, taking projects from initial concept through implementation and deployment.
- Ability to move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong product instincts and the ability to make thoughtful UX decisions when building tools for non-technical users.
- High ownership mentality and the ability to take responsibility for significant projects early on.
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to work in-office five days per week and operate in a demanding, high-intensity environment.
- Genuine interest in financial markets, investing, and learning the domain.
