About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to riders, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe activity, and assist with directing visitors and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and observed security-related conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
