About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while helping maintain a welcoming, secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Monitor access activity and report unauthorized entry, property concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
