About the Role
MYOB is seeking a Head of Product to lead the Practice team through its next phase of growth. This role involves connecting strategy to execution, growing product talent, and fostering an environment for effective decision-making. You will shape the future of the Practice platform, integrating existing products and partnerships into a connected, AI-enhanced solution for accounting firms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow Product Managers and Domain Experts by coaching, lifting product craft, and providing context and guardrails for decision-making.
- Connect strategy to delivery by translating business goals into clear product priorities and roadmaps.
- Lead AI integration by using it in daily work, encouraging experimentation, and embedding AI-native practices.
- Lead through complexity across a broad portfolio of established and cloud products, making clear investment decisions.
- Partner with Design, Technology, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and senior leaders.
Requirements
- Experienced product leader with a track record of developing Product Managers and enhancing team capabilities.
- Strong software product experience, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Ability to connect business strategy, product strategy, and delivery across multiple teams.
- Judgement for making and communicating difficult prioritization calls to senior leaders.
- Advanced use of AI in personal work for research, analysis, prototyping, and building.
- Experience leading teams through change, ambiguity, or transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and empower team members.
- Experience in accounting or professional services software is a bonus.
