About the Role
We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the Revel platform, which handles software installation and updates, organizational access control, and customer extensibility. Revel provides test and control systems for high-stakes hardware development, often in air-gapped environments, making reliability and ease of management critical.
Responsibilities
- Own access and administration features, including SSO, role-based access control, admin tooling, user preferences, and system health.
- Set the strategy for APIs and SDKs, covering exposure, versioning, and support commitments.
- Partner with platform engineering on architectural decisions, focusing on multitenancy, scale, and reliability.
- Conduct discovery with customer administrators, IT/security teams, and field engineers to identify operational pain points.
- Manage the end-to-end deployment and upgrade experience for both connected and offline sites.
- Define and track key platform performance metrics, such as upgrade success rate and onboarding time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience owning a platform, infrastructure, or enterprise product.
- Strong technical fluency to discuss architecture and tradeoffs with engineers.
- Experience shipping products for administrators, IT, or security teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
