About the Role
Own the technical review of new operator sites, ensuring they meet Ornn's standards for infrastructure and capabilities. This role is critical in preventing bottlenecks and managing risk associated with bringing new compute supply onto the platform.
Responsibilities
- Run the technical and IT review of every new supplier site, including racks, topology, power and cooling, heat exchangers, chassis, cabling, and network path.
- Critically read operator documentation, identifying missing information.
- Project manage diligence end-to-end, chasing operators for necessary documents and answers to reach a decision.
- Set and refine the standards for operator listings on Ornn.
- Flag discrepancies between a site's actual capability and promised service levels.
- Collaborate with the supply team on new operators and the finance team on commercial and financial diligence.
- Maintain awareness of capacity post-contract signing, as diligence findings impact deployment and fleet operations.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure: power, cooling, racks, structured cabling, and network topology.
- Ability to read and validate site documentation, single line diagrams, rack elevations, and network diagrams.
- Comfortable managing a process, including timelines, chasing stakeholders, and closing out items.
- Clear and direct writing skills, producing reviews actionable by a commercial team.
