About the Role
Review and mark up MSAs, order forms, and service level agreements, track outstanding items, and ensure contracts progress efficiently. This role is for individuals with legal training interested in commercial contracts within a company building a new market.
Responsibilities
- Review and redline customer MSAs, order forms, and service level agreements against standard positions.
- Prepare first drafts and incorporate counsel's comments into clear language.
- Track all in-flight contracts, including current versions, ownership, and status.
- Support supplier paperwork, including NDAs, diligence documents, and onboarding.
- Address contract-related questions from the go-to-market team.
Requirements
- Possession of a JD, paralegal certificate, or late-stage enrollment in a law program.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing commercial contracts or a clear ability to learn quickly.
- Precise and methodical approach to work, with a focus on detail.
- Ability to manage a queue and proactively follow up with individuals.
- Discretion with confidential commercial terms.
- Based in New York and able to work in person at the office.
