About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
- Ensure resident safety.
- Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care for assigned residents.
- Follow resident assignment schedules.
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
- Respond to call lights promptly.
- Assist with or feed residents.
- Maintain resident cleanliness and dryness, including toileting and incontinent care.
- Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current Nurse Aide certification.
- Good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
