About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic professional to provide in-home ABA services to a 6-year-old boy in Rye Brook, NY. This role involves managing challenging behaviors, implementing treatment plans, and collecting data in a creative and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional patience, problem-solving skills, and a passion for making a difference in a child's life.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA services to a 6-year-old boy.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIP).
• Collect and document data on frequency, duration, and ABC data.
• Adapt to changing session dynamics and maintain a calm demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with the BCBA.
• Ensure client safety during sessions.

Requirements

• Must be able to remain calm and follow the behavior plan during challenging moments.
• Must be able to investigate the function of behavior.
• Must be able to document frequency, duration, and ABC data.
• Must be emotionally regulated.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in session direction.
• Must prioritize safety.
• Must be responsible and punctual.
• Must be compassionate.
• Must be professional, follow the treatment plan, document correctly, and communicate with the BCBA.
• Must be able to turn skill acquisition into an adventure.
• Must be able to observe challenging behavior and consider its function.
• Must have ABA experience and certifications.
• Must provide updated resume, availability, and hourly pay expectation.
