Responsibilities
- Live the company’s values by displaying high standard characteristics and behaviors.
- Work collaboratively with Production Cleaners to clean all production areas within the meat department.
- Clean and sanitize trays, lugs, carts, tables, and processing equipment.
- Thoroughly clean floors, walls, ceilings, drains, and other production surfaces.
- Operate hot water pressure-washing equipment and use approved cleaning chemicals.
- Inspect work areas to ensure sanitation standards are met and maintained.
- Properly handle, store, and use sanitation supplies and chemicals.
- Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the Team Lead.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
- Complete all assigned cleaning tasks to ensure production areas are ready for the next shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic mathematics.
- Ability to read and understand chemical labels and safety information.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and maintain productivity.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, refrigerated production environment.
- Comfortable working around food products and processing equipment.

Salary/Compensations
- $19.00 - $21.00 an hour
