About the Role
Mesh is building the financial operating system for the digital asset ecosystem. This Chief of Staff role will serve as the CEO's closest strategic partner, responsible for the company's operations, driving key initiatives, and overseeing Business Operations. This executive position ensures strategy is translated into actionable plans and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Act as the CEO's strategic thinking partner on company priorities, key decisions, and tradeoffs.
- Represent the CEO with the executive team, board, partners, and investors.
- Own Mesh's operating rhythm, including annual and quarterly planning, OKRs, leadership reviews, and town halls.
- Lead board and investor readiness, including quarterly board updates and company performance reporting.
- Oversee the Business Operations function, setting priorities and improving cross-functional work.
- Drive CEO special projects end to end, including new markets, strategic partnerships, and pricing.
- Hold the executive team accountable to company goals and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Partner with People on org design, executive hiring, internal communications, and culture.
- Build systems, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows for efficient scaling and performance visibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles (strategy, operations, business operations, or Chief of Staff).
- Proven people leader with experience managing teams and overseeing multiple functions.
- Experience owning a company operating cadence: planning, OKRs, exec reviews, and board preparation at a scaling startup.
- Executive presence and sound judgment, with the ability to provide direct feedback.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear narratives.
- Data-driven and commercially minded, with experience building models and owning company metrics.
- Deep experience in crypto and/or payments processing.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments (Series B and beyond preferred).
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to be in the office 3 days a week.
