About the Role
As an AI & Automation Engineering Intern, you will apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in enterprise AI enablement. You will gain hands-on experience supporting responsible AI adoption, use case intake, enablement content creation, and value measurement under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for key strategic projects with a technical mentor.
- Support AI enablement initiatives by documenting and organizing enterprise AI use cases, including intake details, objectives, stakeholders, and expected outcomes.
- Assist in gathering and synthesizing data to support AI adoption and value tracking.
- Help develop and refine enablement materials such as quick-start guides, FAQs, and office-hours content.
- Contribute to lightweight testing of AI solutions and workflows under supervision.
- Provide ad hoc project work support as needed.
- Participate in planned intern events including Senior Leader Meetings, Goal Setting, Team Building, Tours, and Final Presentations.
Requirements
- Current student in, or recent graduate of, a Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other STEM-related program.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI and common limitations/risks.
- Familiarity with productivity and analytics tools (e.g., Excel).
- Exposure to data querying languages such as SQL.
- Ability to work independently and exercise strong technical judgment.
- Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time.
- Primary work environment is within a corporate office setting.
- Ability to travel commercially and internationally.
