About the Role
We are seeking a Manager who excels in technical challenges and enjoys building client relationships and developing teams. This role is varied and challenging, offering significant career development opportunities within a leading corporate tax and international tax practice.
Responsibilities
- Advising large corporate clients on UK and international tax matters.
- Sustaining long-term client relationships and managing and building new business through referrals, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
- Working collaboratively in managing client compliance obligations, including overseeing corporate tax return preparation/submissions and tax accounting and reporting requirements.
- Leading and developing teams and colleagues.
- Collaboratively and creatively solving complex issues for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience advising UK and international large corporate tax clients in respect of UK and cross-border implications.
- Strong UK corporate tax knowledge including the ability to review UK tax computations, tax accounting and disclosures for accuracy, completeness, and to identify broader opportunities and risks for the client.
- Leadership experience with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, including building and maintaining relationships within large teams.
- Business development experience through referrals, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of broader UK and global business issues, and confidence in discussing these with clients.
