About the Role
Provide concierge emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in our clinics, offering seamless care to adult and pediatric patients for cases typically treated in a traditional emergency room or urgent care center.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnosis and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
- Perform medical procedures including IV access, phlebotomy, administering IV medications and fluids, and performing EKGs.
- Lead medical management of patients by working closely with PAs, nurses, and technicians.
- Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including obtaining clinical samples, performing point-of-care testing, obtaining blood for antibody tests, and providing symptom management.
- Document clinical evaluations and treatments in the Athena Health electronic health record.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical team to ensure policy adherence and quality care delivery.
- Coordinate additional care with Virtual Care, house calls teams, or Medical Partners.
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families, addressing questions with patience and professionalism.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related operational projects.
- Perform related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an Accredited Medical School.
- Physician state license and ability to practice in CA.
- ABEM board certified or board eligible required.
- 2+ years of experience as a physician in emergency departments required.
- DEA license required.
- Concierge, EMS/prehospital, experience a plus.
- Excellent clinical care and patient satisfaction in emergency department and urgent care settings.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Tech savvy with ability to use or learn systems including Athena and Microsoft Teams.
- Superb technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and medication administration.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Comfortable with emergency department and urgent care patients.
- Ability to be adaptable and work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
- Strong process and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and think outside of the box.

Salary/Compensations
- $205-$216 per hour
