About the Role
HouseMax Funding is seeking a Junior AI Application Developer to partner with leadership in transforming ideas into working AI-powered applications, automations, and internal tools. This role emphasizes rapid development using AI-assisted tools and a problem-solving approach over years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to turn business ideas into working applications and tools.
- Rapidly prototype and build using AI-assisted development tools.
- Use natural-language prompting to generate, modify, and improve code.
- Build AI-powered workflows, automations, and internal applications.
- Connect applications with APIs, databases, company systems, and AI models.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve AI-generated code.
- Experiment with AI agents, RAG, document intelligence, and emerging AI technology.
- Turn successful prototypes into reliable, maintainable solutions.
- Protect sensitive company, employee, and customer information throughout development.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience building applications, websites, automations, or technical projects.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding and vibe-coding tools.
- Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, GitHub, and web applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technology quickly.
- Comfortable experimenting and working from an idea rather than a detailed technical specification.
- Ability to collaborate directly with company leadership.
