About the Role
Provides professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate, and document care. Arranges admissions and prior authorizations, upholding professional standards and the institution's mission.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes knowledge of nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, evaluate and document care.
- Arranges admissions and prior authorizations.
- Displays professional practice as set forth in The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s standard of care, and the institution’s mission and goals.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as Registered Nurse in an ambulatory care clinical setting.
- Prior experience using an Electronic Medical Record preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
