About the Role
Auth0, an Okta company, is seeking a highly technical product manager to develop strong, customer-focused product strategies for their AI portfolio, focusing on agent identity, access management, and protocols that extend trust to AI products. This role involves enabling secure experiences for enterprise and personal agents.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI product strategy, driving the roadmap and execution for Auth0’s AI portfolio, with a specific focus on Auth0 for AI Agents.
- Identify tactical integration opportunities and ecosystem partnerships that secure agentic workflows and deliver immediate value to developers.
- Bring a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset to define, prototype, and launch new capabilities for AI applications.
- Balance rapid experimentation with the engineering discipline required to scale features into secure, production-grade products.
- Serve as the core product owner and direct collaborator for engineering, design, and security teams.
- Translate the broader AI product vision into concrete, technical requirements, managing the backlog to ensure the timely delivery of developer-friendly features.
- Gather direct feedback from the developer community and early adopters.
- Actively uncover pain points in AI implementation, including the needs of organizations building personal agents, and validate that Auth0’s AI capabilities solve real-world problems.
- Strategize and implement emerging standards in AI and identity, with a focus on Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent interoperability, and the protocols that enable trusted agentic experiences.
- Partner closely with GTM teams (Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Sales) to support successful product launches.
- Create technical enablement assets, documentation, and messaging to drive adoption of secure AI products.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of building world-class agentic products.
- Experience with B2C and B2B SaaS, as well as developer-facing products, is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the emerging agent ecosystem, including personal agents.
- Ability to write code, work directly with APIs and SDKs, and build prototypes that validate customer and developer needs.
- Has defined and shipped successful API or SDK products for developer usage.
- Strong understanding of identity protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML, as well as AI protocols and technologies including MCP and mTLS.
- Demonstrated success in building and launching new products, features, or programs from scratch, and executing the technical roadmap to scale them.
- Strong bias for execution and rapid prototyping.
- Startup founder or early-stage employee experience is a significant plus.
- Ability to deeply understand developer pain points, security requirements, and friction in AI experiences, translating them into compelling, secure, and integrated product experiences.
- An individual contributor who is highly comfortable diving into technical API specifications, data schemas, and AI standards while collaborating on a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.
- The ability to drive alignment and lead through influence in a highly cross-functional organization, working daily with engineering, design, product marketing, developer relations, and sales teams.
- Consistently demonstrates an understanding of their audience when communicating by appropriately simplifying the message.
- The ability to concisely articulate complex technical architectures, developer workflows, and product value propositions clearly to both internal engineering teams and external developers.
- A genuine enthusiasm for the potential of AI and a deep, demonstrable interest in the future of secure identity for users and agents.
