Responsibilities
- Complete layout inspection activities for new programs, annual layouts, and engineering changes.
- Utilize fixturing for layouts.
- Support manufacturing operations through in-process product inspections.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Interpret customer part drawings, including GD&T, for proper staging and measurement.
- Seek efficient methods for on-time layouts, emphasizing programming for repetitive measurements.
- Communicate issues that prevent timely layout completion.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Email/Teams).
- Proficient with PC DMIS software.
- Proficient with GD&T software.
- Proficient with Measuremax software.
- Ability to learn new software as needed.
