About the Role
American Bolt Corporation, a family-owned leader in fastener distribution, is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our 1st shift shipping team. This position is based primarily in shipping and order fulfillment while providing opportunities to support other warehouse functions as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders using RF scanners
- Inspecting products for accuracy and quality utilizing bolt gauges and other inspection tools
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting in Receiving, Kitting, and other warehouse functions as needed
- Following established safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
- Supporting team objectives to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, or related warehouse operations
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Successfully completing a background check
- Completing a physical and drug screen (oral swab) at a clinic
