About the Role
Seeking a reliable, customer-focused General Help associate to prepare food and beverages, handle cash, manage shipping & receiving, and stock inventory at our Tim Hortons location in Victoria Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Perform all required store opening and closing procedures.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Balance cash floats and assist with daily cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and work areas.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries.
- Stock and replenish store products, food items, and supplies as needed.
- Organize and rotate inventory to maintain product freshness and quality.
- Assist with food preparation and dishwashing duties.
- Ensure store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately while adhering to the corporate cash handling policy.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, handling deliveries, and standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Able to independently perform assigned opening and closing duties.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling based on operational needs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be outgoing and friendly, exhibiting a cheerful and genuine interest in exceeding our customers’ expectations.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- All shifts and positions will be subject to change including hours of work, paid hours, duties and responsibilities.
- Associates may be reassigned as determined by the needs of the business.
