About the Role
Host high-energy sales shows on platforms like Whatnot and TikTok, managing the entire stream from product showcasing and viewer engagement to driving conversions in a fun, community-focused atmosphere. This role requires expertise in live selling or a deep understanding of Pokémon TCG.
Responsibilities
- Host engaging, high-energy live sales events showcasing and selling TCG products to a live audience.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to highlight product features, build urgency, and drive conversions.
- Apply Pokémon TCG expertise to educate and excite buyers in real time.
- Confidently discuss singles, sealed product, graded cards, and collectible trends.
- Run various show formats such as breaks, pack openings, auctions, and giveaways at a fast pace.
- Create a fun, welcoming, and interactive environment that responds to viewer questions and encourages participation.
- Contribute to building and growing the Pokémon livestream program.
- Collaborate with the team on creative show themes, promotions, and strategies.
- Track and analyze sales performance and viewer engagement metrics.
- Prepare and organize products, technical equipment, and visual displays before each stream.
- Maintain an organized and well-supplied streaming floor.
- Ensure accurate listings, giveaways, and adherence to streaming SOPs.
- Resolve or escalate technical issues related to streaming equipment and platforms.
Requirements
- Comfortable on camera with a charismatic, confident, and personable on-screen presence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, live-selling environment.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes/products.
- Ability to manage technical setup for a live stream environment, including basic troubleshooting of audio/video issues.
- Ability to work independently, managing and closing a live show with limited guidance after training.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player mindset.
- Minimum of 1+ year hosting live sales streams (Whatnot, TikTok Live, or similar) with a track record of hitting sales targets OR deep Pokémon TCG knowledge as a longtime collector, player, or seller, with a strong understanding of card values and market trends.
