About the Role
Northern Dutchess Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join an established and growing employed practice. The practice consists of physicians and certified nurse midwives with a strong regional reputation. The ideal candidate will be well-trained and caring, preferring a small-town setting with access to sophisticated medical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide care within an established and growing employed practice.
- Work in a primary office located in a suite at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck.
- Work in a secondary office located across the Hudson River in Kingston, shared with primary care.
- Attend deliveries at The Neugarten Family Birth Center at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
- Contribute to a safe, holistic, and family-centered birthing experience.
- Offer a single-room birthing experience where patients labor, deliver, recover, and stay in one room with their baby.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Well-trained and caring.
- Desires to escape the hustle and bustle of big city living while retaining access to amenities.
