About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service while using technology to document activity and communicate concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a residential property.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, document entries and incidents, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional interactions with residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
Requirements
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
