About the Role
Academy Point at Mystic is seeking a dining room server and dishwasher, or an individual willing to perform both roles, to join their team. This position focuses on maintaining a clean and inviting dining atmosphere while positively impacting residents' lives. Ideal for those passionate about friendly service and quality meals within a values-aligned company.
Responsibilities
- Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals promptly and appealingly.
- Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room.
- Assists residents with meal selection and specific dietary needs.
- Prepares the dining room for subsequent meals.
- Participates in inventorying supplies.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of dietary procedures, Health Department regulations, and food service guidelines.
- Capability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods.
