About the Role
Provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs), following individualized client care plans and providing progress updates to the care team. Services include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping (non-medical).
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs).
- Follow individualized client care plans.
- Provide periodic progress updates to the care team.
- Assist with personal care (bathing/showering & toileting).
- Prepare meals.
- Provide companionship.
- Give medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping.
Requirements
- Great communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired).
- Two references (at least one confirming disability-related experience).
- Proof of negative TB Results (test accommodations or waivers may be available).
- Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) (reimbursement available).
