About the Role

CNY Fertility is a renowned fertility center offering advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and egg freezing. With a patient-centered approach and cutting-edge technology, we support individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist with various screening, financial and planning surrounding clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment for multiple clinical trials, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines.
Assist participants with grant applications and monitor expenses for all protocols.
Submit protocols, amendments, notices, suspensions, and terminations to the IRB for review and approval in collaboration with the principal investigator/research nurse.
Interact with patients before and during their study participation.
Discuss, obtain, and review informed consent forms with patients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and IRB guidelines.
Verify patient eligibility or ineligibility criteria based on medical records, consulting with the clinical research nurse or principal investigator for any questions.
Monitor and report adverse events according to FDA guidelines, sponsoring pharmacy, and IRB requirements.
Ensure strict adherence to protocols by physicians, nurses, and patients.
Prepare records for audits.
Assist the principal investigator in obtaining new funding sources and negotiating with prospective sponsors and collaborating institutions.
Ensure compliance with funding agencies and assist the principal investigator in preparing annual grant progress reports.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to sit.
May be required to lift 20-50 pounds.
