About the Role
Own our managed cloud security capability end to end, acting as both product owner for cloud security and lead of the team that delivers it. This role involves building and running platforms and services behind managed security offerings, focusing on cloud security and exposure.
Responsibilities
- Own managed cloud security capability end to end.
- Act as product owner for cloud security.
- Lead the team that delivers cloud security services.
- Scope new client onboarding across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Review Terraform changes for detection content promotion.
- Manage the posture backlog and client actions.
- Define containment playbooks and authorization.
- Guide SOC analysts on cloud detection identity paths.
- Qualify deals and size retained hours with pursuit teams.
- Conduct quarterly service reviews with clients.
- Define and maintain service deliverability boundaries, including SLAs.
- Build and run cloud security platforms and services.
- Develop a repeatable, priced, and evidenced service.
- Build and develop engineers, setting standards, and reviewing technical work.
- Build capability across a wider delivery bench, including certifications.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience across at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP at organization or tenant scope.
- Experience with identity and access, control plane logging, networking, and container or serverless workloads.
- Practical experience with Wiz or a comparable CNAPP / cloud detection and response platform.
- Experience covering posture management, cloud entitlements, data security posture, and threat detection.
- Solid understanding of cloud environment attacks, including identity abuse, control plane attacks, metadata risk, Kubernetes and container runtime activity, and data exfiltration paths.
- Experience in Python, PowerShell, or Go for building and maintaining tooling against vendor APIs.
- Proven capability with Terraform, Git-based change control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
- Experience implementing or managing detection content.
- Experience integrating cloud telemetry into SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or ITSM workflows.
- Experience leading a managed or client-facing service.
- Experience with ownership of scope boundaries, SLAs, onboarding, reporting, continuous improvement, and commercial discussions.
- Confidence leading and developing engineers.
- Experience setting standards.
- Experience reviewing technical work constructively.
- Experience building capability across a wider delivery bench.
