About the Role
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys building teams, driving efficiencies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring materials move seamlessly from purchase to production. You will own the entire supply chain operation, from sourcing and supplier strategy to inventory, warehousing, and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Lead purchasing, inventory, stockroom, and shipping operations.
- Manage supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and procurement strategy.
- Drive inventory planning, demand forecasting, and material availability to support production goals.
- Improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and strengthen supply continuity.
- Oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments.
- Track KPIs, analyze supply chain data, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to support growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing supply chain teams.
- Strong background in planning, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical component purchasing experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Aerospace or defense industry experience.
- Experience supporting products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
