About the Role
PwC's business application consulting team helps clients optimize operational efficiency by analyzing needs, implementing software solutions, and providing training. The Salesforce Practice is expanding, seeking Senior Associates to become future leaders, demonstrating technical capability and vision within a collaborative team. This role involves solving enterprise-wide problems by clarifying requirements and developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality solutions using a configuration-first approach, balancing configuration vs. customization for scalability and maintainability.
- Design and develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and working solutions.
- Build integrations, automation, and data models to support end-to-end service workflows.
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions, technical estimates, delivery planning, and release readiness.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
- Collaborate within cross-functional delivery teams in an agile consulting environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with software development.
- 1+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, or Administrator.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
- Strong experience with Salesforce data modeling, security, and sharing.
- Strong experience with Salesforce environments and SDLC best practices.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and diverse delivery teams.
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions in healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud / Home Health, Service Cloud, or industry clouds.
- Experience with mobile workforce implementations (Salesforce Field Service or similar).
- Familiarity with integration patterns and external systems common in enterprise environments.
- Curiosity and proactiveness in using AI tools while applying human review and adhering to responsible-use guardrails.
- Mandatory Security Clearance required.
