About the Role
As a team member of the ReStore, you will ensure customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. In this role, you'll provide incredible customer service by engaging customers in friendly conversation, and you'll educate them about how their purchases contribute to our mission. You'll leave a lasting impression and transform first-time shoppers into loyal ReStore customers.
Responsibilities
- Greets every customer with enthusiasm, maintains a positive, “can do” attitude at all times
- Provides volunteers with meaningful experience
- Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds appropriately
- Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized sales floor environment by processing donations and completes housekeeping duties
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
- Assists in the process of all purchased merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner
- Assists in maintaining merchandise presentation, pricing and the accuracy of inventory levels
- Performs all other duties as assigned based on business needs
- Responsible for re-stocking sales counter merchandise, and participates in annual inventory
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
Requirements
- Flexible work availability (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance is necessary
- You like working in a fun and dynamic environment
- You aren’t looking for Monday thru Friday computer job. We are always on the go, especially on the weekends and holidays
