About the Role
Flex is seeking an individual to drive a culture of excellence, coach waste removal using lean and six sigma, and guide actions to a sustainable conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Execute time studies and consolidate results for Industrial Engineers.
- Collect, process, and analyze capacity and Direct Labor performance data.
- Monitor, record, and analyze downtime, generating reports with root causes and corrective actions.
- Prepare and adapt simple jigs, fixtures, and mockups to support station improvements.
- Support Kaizen events through data collection, time studies, and action follow-up.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standardized work instructions and process sheets.
- Configure, execute, and document capacity tests and simulations.
- Maintain software files, spreadsheets, and measuring equipment.
- Train operators and technicians on new standardized work methods and data collection procedures.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Mechanics, Production, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; or Technical High School with equivalent experience.
Education Level
