About the Role

We are looking for a curious, energetic generalist to support our investor relations effort and keep the firm running day to day. You will represent CSIM at conferences and events, help build relationships with allocators, and handle the documents, scheduling and logistics behind all of it. In exchange, you will see how a fund of funds is built from the inside, sit in on manager meetings, and learn the business faster than you would at a large firm.

Responsibilities

  • Attend industry conferences and capital introduction events, meet allocators and managers, and follow up with notes and next steps.
  • Plan and run events, from small dinners to larger investor gatherings, including venues, invitations, travel and follow-up.
  • Maintain our investor and prospect pipeline in the CRM, and prepare materials for investor meetings.
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness, including subscription documents, investor forms, marketing materials and data room contents.
  • Support investor onboarding alongside our fund administrator and operations lead.
  • Manage scheduling across the team, including manager meetings, investor calls and diligence visits.
  • Help with research on managers and markets, including meeting notes, industry data and competitor tracking.
  • Take on whatever else needs doing. On a small team, that list changes weekly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of experience.
  • Internships in finance, sales, events or client service are a plus, not a requirement.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, sometimes on short notice.
  • Financial services or high-growth technology experience preferred.
  • Clear, careful writing and attention to detail.
  • Strong people skills: comfortable starting conversations with strangers and following up without being pushy.
  • Genuine curiosity about markets, investing and how people make decisions.
  • Low ego about the work and a high standard for how it gets done.
