About the Role
Veolia in North America is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join their team. This role involves ensuring water quality, collecting samples, and maintaining operational records.
Responsibilities
- Availability for shift duty as required.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor.
- Obtain knowledge of water utility regulations and sampling procedures.
- Record and maintain statistical operating records and water quality data.
- Schedule and collect samples as required by water quality regulations, customer requests, or company requirements.
- Address water quality complaints.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Possess a general knowledge of operations.
- Ability to be contacted by phone and available for any and all emergencies.
- Working knowledge of mathematics.
- Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
- Ability to legibly draw and write.
- Ability to operate Company’s SCADA system.
- Must possess a valid driver license at all times.
- Must have applicable NYS Operator Grade II or higher License, or ability to obtain the same.
