About the Role

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of The UPS Store location, including opening and closing the center, managing productivity, and ensuring world-class customer service. This role is accountable for profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery, personnel management, and business development.

Responsibilities

Performs personnel management, including training and coaching associates.
Monitors, evaluates, and maximizes customer service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Oversees Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization.
Manages inventory.
May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting.
Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control.
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Willing to accept full accountability for Center operations.
Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.
P&L experience preferred.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Retail/customer service experience

Education Level

High school diploma or GED required
